Professor Mohamed Abdel Azim, President of Mansoura National University, met with members of the university’s Enactus team in the presence of Professor Walid Raslan, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Associate Professor Ehab Hany Abdel Hay, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the team’s academic supervisor.

During the meeting, the University President emphasized that investing in talent is among the university’s highest priorities, as it represents a fundamental pillar in building a knowledge-based society capable of competing in an increasingly dynamic global environment. He highlighted the university’s strong commitment to preparing students in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship and developing their ability to transform creative ideas into viable projects with tangible impact.

Professor Mohamed Abdel Azim explained that entrepreneurship extends beyond the establishment of new ventures; it also encompasses transforming ideas into innovative products and services that contribute to addressing societal challenges. He cited projects related to recycling and the safe management of waste as examples of initiatives capable of generating meaningful social impact. He further stressed that a university’s true success is measured by its ability to transform knowledge into practical industrial and economic applications that contribute to community development and sustainable growth.

The University President also announced the university’s readiness to host a student event bringing together Enactus teams from universities across Egypt. He noted that such an event would reflect the university’s growing prominence and leadership while highlighting its commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship at the national level.

He further reaffirmed the university’s full support for outstanding student ideas and projects and its commitment to adopting initiatives that provide innovative solutions to societal challenges, thereby strengthening the university’s role in community engagement and environmental development.
