All programs operate under the international Credit Hour System (except for the Faculty of Medicine, which follows an integrated credit-points program). The official language of instruction is English. A credit hour measures the direct contact hours between instructors and students per semester.

The academic year consists of three semesters: Fall (Main), Spring (Main), and an optional Summer semester. Course registration is flexible but remains provisional until officially reviewed and approved by the Academic Advisor and the Program Coordinator.

The minimum duration depends on fulfilling all specific graduation requirements for each program. The maximum allowed duration to graduate is double the official regular semesters allocated for the program (excluding frozen semesters with approved excuses); exceeding this limit results in academic dismissal.

To earn the degree, students must successfully complete all required credit hours, pass all zero-credit courses, and complete mandatory field training. If applicable, the Graduation Project must be completed successfully (potentially over two consecutive semesters) based on specific prerequisite credit hours.
