Founded in April 2026, the Sustainability Center at Mansoura National University aligns with Egypt's Vision 2030 and
the SDGs to position the university as a regional and international institutional model.

Comprehensive Facility Auditing
Conducting comprehensive audits (environmental, structural, and administrative) for all university facilities and buildings, and periodically updating performance indicators.
Human Resource Sustainability
Designing and implementing comprehensive frameworks for human resource sustainability and continuous professional development paths.
Woodrow Nikolaus
Applying advanced asset lifecycle management and predictive maintenance programs for university facilities.
Economic Sustainability
Enhancing economic sustainability through green procurement policies and achieving institutional financial savings from utility bills and waste management.
Green Innovation Localization
Localizing eco-friendly technologies and supporting student and research innovations through the Green Inno-Lab.

OUR SERVICES
Energy & Resource Efficiency
Auditing and consulting in energy efficiency, Smart Building Management Systems (BMS), and water conservation.
Waste Management & Recycling
Designing waste segregation programs, managing medical/lab waste, and composting organic waste.
Facility Safety & Preventive Maintenance
Structural evaluation of buildings and providing preventive maintenance plans for facilities and equipment.
Institutional & Human Capacity Development
Providing organizational development consulting, professional mentorship programs, and workplace quality enhancement.
Innovation & Co-Manufacturing
Incubating innovations and prototyping environmental sensors in collaboration with the industrial sector (e.g., Arab Organization for Industrialization).
Institutional Excellence & Global Rankings
Preparing university files for international rankings (e.g., UI GreenMetric) and certifications (ISO 14001).

Our Mission
Leading the comprehensive institutional transformation at the university through rigorous scientific auditing, resource rationalization, and technology localization, building a stimulating work environment that ensures the retention and development of human capital, and applying the latest engineering systems to sustain and maintain university facilities with the highest efficiency.
Our Organizational Structure
The center operates as a specialized entity with technical and administrative independence, directly reporting to the University President. The structure consists of a strategic Board of Directors (including faculty deans and experts), the Center Director, and the following operational units:
